Privacy

Your numbers, explained.

Sourdough Bench has no account system, message form, or advertising. Our pages do not add analytics or advertising cookies, and the tools do not save calculator values in browser storage.

Calculator inputs

Calculations run in your browser. Changing a weight, percentage, or feeding ratio does not submit those values to a calculation service.

Bake logs and schedule downloads

The bake-log form and schedule planner work in this browser tab. Your entries are not sent to a backend and are not automatically saved. A download creates a file on your device only when you select the download button. Reloading or closing the page may lose unsaved entries. You control where you keep or share a downloaded file.

Links you choose to share

Using a calculator's share-link feature puts its numerical settings in the link. Anyone with that link can read and use those settings. The link may also appear in browser history or be retained by the service you use to share it.

Opening a shared link sends its address, including those numerical settings, to the website host. Choose what you share with that in mind; the share feature is for recipe quantities, not personal information.

Website hosting

Cloudflare delivers and protects this site. It may process request information such as IP addresses, requested pages, and browser details to provide these services. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for information about its processing. We do not claim a fixed retention period for hosting logs.

Links to baking references take you to other websites. Their own privacy notices describe what happens when you visit them.
